‘Destination’— Poem by ‘Anonymous’ JSEC Student
March 28, 2018
I am like a bird alive in the sky
I’ll go wherever you ask me to
I’ll be your companion
On this road called life
If you and I flow together
We will find the shores someday
If you and I stay together
We can find happiness someday
If you walk alongside me
I will also lose my consciousness
And walk with you
We might find paradise at the end of the road
If you walk with me, I will find a hundred more reasons to live
We don’t need to worry about our destination
As long as I am with you, I don’t mind being unsure
I am a traveler by nature
But if you ask me, I’ll go anywhere with you.
