The 1st Game of the 24-25 Season JSEC Vs. Cranston
The JV Team played hard; however, they lost their first game. Most of the team had never played together but did well and will work harder at practice to work out the kinks. The Varsity Team seemed to do better and revitalized the JV loss by coming out of the locker room strong. The Varsity Team advanced to a higher division this year so the competition is much tougher. The Final Score was of the JV Team was 67 to 34. The Team’s spirit was high and seemed encouraged as they plan for their next game. From the first initial loss the team plans on revamping its practices and strategic plans for conquer their next challengers. The team had fun and it was their first game together after weeks of practice.
The Varsity team also gave it their all and seemed to reenertized JSEC Pride by challenging every play, making fantastic plays, and showing strong offense and defense. Goooooooo Cavaliers! The final score of the Varsity Game was 78-47. Although the first games of the Season did not go exactly as planned both the Varsity and Junior Varsity Teams know this season is a marathon not a sprint and were happy that each team shows promise. Practice continues this week along with an exciting Cavalier Season.
